ARSENAL INTEREST IN PEDRO NETO MAY NOT BE IMMINENT ACCORDING TO WOLVES MANAGER BRUNO LAGE

Wolves manager Bruno Lage was asked about Arsenal-linked forward Pedro Neto after his team's Carabao Cup game but said no one has told him about a proposal.
The high-flying gunners are sitting at the top of the summit with two clear points ahead of premier champions Machester City just after three opening matches to the season.
Arsenal is said to be looking at possible transfer targets to bolster their midfield and wing section. Major newspapers have reported that Arsenal's technical director Edu Gaspar may be interested in signing Pedro Neto from Wolves and Tielemanns from foxes before the transfer window closes.
This is the first time since the 2003-2004 season that Arsenal won the first three matches of the season and fans are enthusiastic about the changes they have seen anticipated at the Emirates Stadium by Edu Gaspar and Mikel Arteta, bringing the much-expected atmosphere and belief of title contention.
The Gunners have already raided various clubs in Europe and South America among them Manchester City and got away with superstars such as Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Viera, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Marquinos, and others splashing more than 131 M Euros in the process.
The gunners have to therefore offload deadwood players from the team first before making new transfers according to Financial Fair Play rules. And we understand that various players have been sold or moved to create room for the arrival of new players. Whatever happens, Arsenal looks focused on challenging for silverware this season and a few additions will only add value to their campaign. It is only a few days left.
